It’s time to get out of the city. We picked up our hire car in London this morning & hit the road for Cambridge. 5 minutes down the road we have missed a turn, Siri is sending us up dead end streets in the rougher end of town & we are getting beeped on a massive roundabout that has 8 roads leading into it. 😬 Thankfully things improved after that! Luckily I have a very calm pilot.

On the way to Cambridge we took a detour to visit the magnificent Audrey End house & gardens at Saffron Walden.

Loving the blog! I can’t reply to your message. Grandfather lived at Hook Bank Worcestershire. I have worked out the address if you’re wanting to head that way. Robyn

Hey Ando, this morning Greg had black pudding as part of his big breakfast but we both only had a small taste. Even though it tasted ok, the thought of pig’s blood is not appetising. 🥴 And fish & chips is on every menu but it’s all battered. I will take some photos. Freezing & rainy today. Has been clear weather until now so can’t complain. Hope you are both still enjoying your adventure xx
