Cambridge to Lincoln

As we spent most of the days at the Imperial War Museum at Duxford this post should interest the boys. Planes, planes & more planes …..

Just a few dials & switches for the 🧑‍✈️ to manage.
We walked through a Concorde!
Ambulance used in Afghanistan. Note the shrapnel damage.
All-terrain vehicle used in Afghanistan.
I think I am owed a shopping day!! 😂

A very impressive display which reminded us all to appreciate those who have served & to never take our freedom for granted.

We then hit the road to visit a couple of historical sites on the way to Lincoln.

Duxford chapel
Inside the chapel
Denny Abbey which has been altered many times over the years as its use changed.
Always good to see a man in the kitchen!
Lincoln street known as the Bailgate. Our hotel is on this street.
