Today we hit the road again heading into the Highlands following the NC500. The NC500 (North Coast 500) is the Route 66 of Scotland. It is very beautiful country, very green. As we follow the coast we are seeing lots of wind turbines off shore & some drilling platforms.
Our first stop was at Loch Ness.

Next up was Dunrobin Castle which is the historic home of the Earls & Dukes of Sutherland.

Next stop was the spectacular cliffs at Whaligoe steps.

We are seeing some amazing sights & having a great adventure in this beautiful country. But not the place to be in winter. A high today of 11 degrees 🥶

Luckily C&N travel lightly & we only have one small suitcase (not mine ☺️) on the back seat.
