Edinburgh to Belfast

Hello Northern Ireland!

Our whole day was taken up with flying from Edinburgh to Belfast even though it was only a 35 minute flight. Seriously, it took longer for the air hostess to warm up the toasted sandwich than for the pilot to ascend then almost immediately get the landing gear out. ☺️ We actually thought we were going to miss the flight as getting through security took more than an hour & it was a nightmare. We ran for the gate only to find the flight had been delayed for 1.5 hours. 😅

We are staying at the very swish Titanic Hotel next to the Titanic Experience which is a new tourist attraction on the water front. I didn’t realize that the Titanic was conceived, designed & built in Belfast.

The hotel bar, great spot for a cocktail 🍹

A big shout out to our youngest who turned 30 a couple of days ago. He dressed as Woody from Toy Story for his 90’s themed party. What a shame we couldn’t be there for the celebration. I’m sure it was a great night. 🥳

Happy birthday Madison ❤️
