Cobh to Tralee

Cobh is a very pretty town on Great Island in Cork Harbour on the south coast. Yesterday when we arrived it was very quiet on the waterfront but this morning there is a big arse cruise ship docked so a bit busier around town.

Cobh was also the final port for passengers to board the Titanic before heading to New York.

The many stone carvings were amazing.
Many beautiful tiled floors in the church.

Time to hit the road again. We didn’t feel the need to kiss the Blarney Stone so bypassed Blarney.

Show ride at Killarney 😯
We have seen a lot of tractors on major highways in Ireland, 4 today. From the Belfast airport to the city we were stuck behind a tractor pulling a load of hay. Not what you would see on a major road back home.

So many traditional boats for hire.
It’s laundry day but it’s very public! Next to the Servo, almost on the footpath.🫣 Luckily no-one knows me.

  1. We have that ride in Australia too, I believe it’s called The Speed.
I’m pretty sure you kiss the Blarney Stone if you are searching for your true love, Chris and Greg, you already have each other ❤️❤️
My favourite picture was the yellow photographer shop 😍
