Ennis Friary
Poulnabrone tomb from the New Stone Age (3000 BC) at the Burren. Archaeological excavations found 33 people buried here.

The Burren is a glaciokarst landscape 530 square kilometres in size. All the limestone on the surface was once covered by glaciers.

Inside the Ailwee cave. European bear remains were found in this cave. These bears have been extinct in Ireland for 3000 years.

🚜 parked beside the pub. A quick Guinness for Farmer Joe. Because we take the back roads we have been stuck behind a lot of them. We have seen about 20 on the road today.
