Tresaith to Swansea

It’s a beautiful day, woohoo! The rain has cleared so we were able to have a walk along the beach before taking off. Wales, like the rest of the UK has stunning scenery.

Water temp 14C so the🩱won’t be needed.
Continental breakfast Welsh style. They must looovvve yoghurt.
The family 🚗 with mum, dad & 2 kids on board.
Mumbles waterfront, near Swansea.
The reality of being a Welsh boat owner – purchase, park & wait, then wait a bit longer for good weather.
So many decrepit boats parked right on the waterfront.
This building next to the pier at Mumbles was originally a train station. The railway was built in 1804 but in 1807 it became the first rail passenger service in the world with a horse drawn carriage travelling along the rail lines.
Their spelling is crazy! Their use or non-use of vowels is interesting as in Mwmbwls (Mumbles) & Llwybr (trail).
Standing around on the worksite seems to be a worldwide problem. ☺️
Each beer/lager in the UK comes in its own branded glass.
Our hotel 😍
Swansea castle in the middle of town, right next to the pub. How convenient!
There are lots of these beautifully painted castles in Swansea.
This one is painted in graffiti style.
Interesting name!
Dylan Thomas, Welsh poet & writer.
