The Cotswolds

What a beautiful part of the country this is with so many quant little villages. 😍

First stop was Castle Combe which is said to be the most beautiful village in England.

Read the sign in the middle. 😂

Next village was Malmesbury.

And onto Bath…..

Entrance to the Roman baths.
Come to Bath for a bath in The Great Bath.
Roman bricks
Gold bust of the Goddess Sulis Minerva found in the excavations. She was said to preside over the baths & was worshipped by the Romans for her healing powers.
The streets of Bath
Out the back of our B&B the owners have chooks, ducks, geese, a white swan & 2 South African Rhea & a pond down the end. Is anyone else thinking Avian Influenza?? 🤭
One of the rheas. They are like albino emus.
Chook eggs in the basket on the ground & 2 Rhea eggs in front. They are whoppers!
